The main responsible agency was tasked with educating employees annually. Furthermore, it launched an energy conservation campaign to extend the durability of equipment and products, along with a campaign to use paper effectively. Energy Management Guidelines Currently, CAT has designed a new headquarters plan covering an area of 26 rai, including 40 percent of building and 60 percent of green and outdoor areas. It consists of three building centers: 1) Club buildings 2) Head office buildings and 3). Parking lots and sports centers. The design is in compliance with ideas of sustainable energy conservation and environment. For example, the Smart Life and Sustainable project was introduced with modern communications systems that respond to contemporary work styles and blend in with smart technologies as follows: Central Air Condition systems consistently spread cool air to users with appropriate temperatures, while also saving energy. Lighting systems monitor on and off switches, which are automatically operated via sensors through a central control room for appropriate brightness levels. Toilets and sanitary ware have water-saving systems installed to facilitate the recycling of water. The water that undergoes treatment until its standard quality is restored will be used to water plants, flush toilets and serve as air conditioning coolants. Because of these reasons, the new headquarters of CAT received an award in energy conservation from the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency. Multipurpose buildings and office buildings were awarded the “Energy Conservation Building: Very Good Level” prize.
