3. At Koh Mak High School in Phatthalung, the school’s flood-damaged library was refurbished into CAT Learning Center. It is for students and community members to search for information, ready withICTequipmentandITlibrarycornertoofferICTserviceswithcomputerandIT-relatedbooks. CAT Learning Center initiatives in the East CAT established a learning center which focuses on training and activities promoting innovation skills that complement the sufficiency economy philosophy. It tested the IoT system using ICT to manage and control the automatic watering system for agriculture. Furthermore, the initiative also invited local experts to share their knowledge on organic farming. The session was attended by students, school staff, parents and the general public at Ban Tam Bun Siri Municipal 3 School, Amphoe Muang, Nakhon Nayok on 18 August 2017. At present, these members have learned about the production process of various goods made from agricultural produce and materials already used in local households or those that can be sold to members and the community. This contributes to the members’ income, and also serve as a foundation for their journey to self-reliance.
