ไม่เพียงเท่าน้ัน บริษัทยังคงมุ่งมั่นพัฒนาระบบและ อุปกรณ์ เพ่ือเพ่ิมศักยภาพโครงข่ายให้รองรับการขยายตัวของ ระบบเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัล และการเปิดประชาคมอาเซียน (AEC) โดยมุ่งหวังให้ผู้ใช้บริการสามารถใช้งานเครือข่ายได้ถึงระดับ เทราบิตต่อวินาที (Tbps)
และเพื่อตอบสนองต่อแนวโน้มการบริโภคข้อมูลที่เพิ่ม ขนึ้ รวมถงึ สง่ เสรมิ และสนบั สนนุ โครงสรา้ งเศรษฐกจิ แบบดจิ ทิ ลั ของประเทศ บริษัทจึงร่วมมือกับรัฐบาลในการดาเนินงาน โครงการเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศและการส่ือสาร โดยมีโครงการ ต่างๆ ดังน้ี
กํารพัฒนําอินเทอร์เน็ตบรอดแบนด์ควํามเร็วสูง (High-Speed Broadband Internet) สาหรับสัญญาณ อนิ เทอรเ์ นต็ ไรส้ ายโดยไมเ่ สยี คา่ ใชจ้ า่ ยในพนื้ ทส่ี าธารณะ พน้ื ท่ี หา่ งไกล สถานศกึ ษา รวมถงึ เครอื ขา่ ยทางการศกึ ษา (NEdNet) และเครือข่ายข้อมูลของรัฐบาล (GIN) เพื่อให้บริการข้อมูลที่มี ประโยชน์และจาเป็นท่ัวประเทศ
ระบบโครงสร้ํางพื้นฐํานของประเทศ (National Infrastructure) การนาระบบเคเบิลใยแก้วนาแสงใต้น้าที่ เชื่อมโยงระหว่างชุมชนเมืองและชนบทซ่ึงครอบคลุมกว่า 70,000 หมู่บ้านทั่วประเทศ หรือคิดเป็นร้อยละ 93 ของชุมชน ในประเทศไทย

โครงกําร Thailand One Map เพื่อรวบรวมและ จัดการข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับพื้นที่จากหลายภาคส่วน เพื่อแก้ปัญหา การบุกรุกป่า หรือความขัดแย้งระหว่างพ้ืนที่
On top of that, the company aims to develop its systems and equipment in order to increase its network potential that could be wielded to accommodate the expansion of the digital economy and the onset of the ASEAN Economic Cooperation (AEC). It is hoped to enable customers to use the network at the speed of Tbps, as well as to respond to the increasing trend of data consumption. The company also aims to uphold the structure of the digital economy of the nation. CAT Telecom, in this regard, has solicited cooperation from the government in organizing projects pertaining to information technology. Its projects are as follows:
The development of high speed broadband Internet for free of charge in public areas, remote locations, educational institutes as well as National Education Network (NEdNet) and Government Information Network (GIN) will provide important information nationwide.
National infrastructure: CAT’s ber optic submarine cable system connects urban communities and remote areas of the country, covering some 70,000 villages nationwide, representing 93 percent of the communities in Thailand.
Smart City: CAT is working to promote Phuket province to become the prototype Smart City to accommodate investment related to digital technology as well as the travel and tourism industry by utilizing the national infrastructure, data center and application of IoT technology.
Thailand One Map project will help collect and manage data related to areas from various units to help solve problems of forest encroachment or con ict between areas.
