Company’s General Information
“บริษัท กสท โทรคมนําคม จํากัด (มหําชน)” ได้จดทะเบียนจัดตั้งเมื่อวันที่ 14 สิงหาคม 2546 โดยแปลงสภาพจาก “การสื่อสารแห่งประเทศไทย” ตามพระราชบัญญัติทุนรัฐวิสาหกิจ พ.ศ. 2542 และได้รับโอนกิจการ สิทธิ หน้ี ความรับผิด และ สนิ ทรพั ยข์ องการสอื่ สารแหง่ ประเทศไทยในสว่ นทเี่ กยี่ วกบั กจิ การโทรคมนาคมทง้ั หมด เพอ่ื ใหก้ ารดา เนนิ งานเปน็ ไปอยา่ งตอ่ เนอ่ื ง และมีประสิทธิภาพ ทั้งนี้บริษัทยังคงมีสถานภาพเป็นรัฐวิสาหกิจ สังกัดกระทรวงดิจิทัลเพ่ือเศรษฐกิจและสังคม (DE) โดยมีกระทรวงการคลังเป็นผู้ถือหุ้น 100% ของทุนจดทะเบียน
“CAT Telecom Public Company Limited” was founded on August 14, 2003 by changing its status from “The Communications Authority of Thailand,” in accordance with State Enterprise Capital Act B.E. 2542. All the rights, liabilities, obligations and assets of the Communications Authority of Thailand, especially with respect to telecommunications, were transferred to CAT Telecom in order to ensure the effective continuity of the operations. CAT Telecom still maintained the status of a state enterprise under the auspices of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (DE), whereby the Ministry of Finance is currently holding 100% of the company’s paid-up share capital.
