บริษัท กสท โทรคมนาคม จากัด (มหาชน) ในฐานะ องค์กรที่มีความรับผิดชอบด้านการสื่อสารของประเทศ สานึก ในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณอย่างหาท่ีสุดมิได้ จึงน้อมนาพระราช ดา รสั และพระบรมราโชวาทของพระองคม์ าเปน็ แนวทางในการ ดาเนินกิจการตลอดระยะเวลากว่า 40 ปีที่ผ่านมา โดยเฉพาะ ในดา้ นความรบั ผดิ ชอบตอ่ สงั คม ชมุ ชน และสง่ิ แวดลอ้ ม ทเี่ รมิ่ ตน้ อยา่ งจรงิ จงั มาตงั้ แตป่ ี 2552 โดยมงุ่ เนน้ กระบวนการมสี ว่ นรว่ ม ของพนักงาน ผ่านรูปแบบ CSR ในกระบวนการ (In process) และ CSR นอกเหนือกระบวนการ (After process) ควบคู่กัน ไป เพื่อก่อให้เกิดการพัฒนาและเติบโตไปด้วยกันอย่างย่ังยืน
และในปี 2559 บมจ. กสท โทรคมนาคม ได้มีการ ปรับปรุงแก้ไขกระบวนการดาเนินงานด้านความรับผิดชอบ ต่อสังคมให้เข้าไปมีบทบาทอยู่ในทุกกระบวนการทางานของ บริษัท โดยเริ่มจากการ “ส่ือสาร” ภายในองค์กรเพื่อปลูกฝัง ให้พนักงานทุกส่วนมีความรับผิดชอบ ก่อนจะนาไปสู่การ “พฒั นา” โดยนา ศกั ยภาพดา้ นโครงขา่ ยของบรษิ ทั ไปสนบั สนนุ ส่งเสริมสังคม ชุมชน และประเทศชาติ ทั้งยังก่อให้เกิดความ “กา้ วหนา้ ” ดว้ ยการกระจายความรแู้ ละโครงขา่ ยโทรคมนาคม ไปยังพื้นท่ีห่างไกล เปิดโอกาสให้ประชาชนชาวไทยทุกคนเขา้ ถงึ การสอื่ สารทกุ รปู แบบอยา่ งเทา่ เทยี มกนั อนั จะนา พาสงั คมไปสู่ ความทนั สมยั และ “ทนั โลก” ซงึ่ ไมเ่ พยี งสอดรบั กับแผนแม่บท การดาเนินกิจกรรมเพื่อสังคม พ.ศ. 2558-2562 ของบริษัท แต่ยังนับเป็นการดาเนินการตามแนวพระราชดารัสของ พระบาทสมเด็จพระปรมินทรมหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชด้วย
และที่ไม่อาจละเว้นท่ีจะกล่าวถึงได้ คือความร่วมมือ ของผมู้ สี ว่ นไดส้ ว่ นเสยี ทกุ กลมุ่ ผมในฐานะตวั แทนคณะกรรมการ กากับดูแลกิจการท่ีดีและส่งเสริมกิจกรรมเพ่ือสังคม ต้องขอ ขอบคุณที่ให้การสนับสนุนในทุกการดาเนินงานของบริษัท มาอยา่ งตอ่ เนอื่ งเพราะหากขาดความรว่ มมอื จากทกุ ภาคสว่ นแลว้ บรษิ ทั กค็ งไมอ่ าจกา้ วมาจนถงึ วนั นไี้ ด้ ซงึ่ ผมเชอื่ มน่ั เหลอื เกนิ วา่ ดว้ ยการสนบั สนนุ จากผมู้ สี ว่ นไดส้ ว่ นเสยี ผนวกกบั ความมงุ่ มน่ั ตงั้ ใจในการปฏบิ ตั หิ นา้ ทขี่ องพนกั งานทกุ คน จะสง่ ผลให้ บมจ. กสท โทรคมนาคม สามารถเติบโตอย่างยั่งยืนและกลับมา เป็นผู้ให้บริการโทรคมนาคมชั้นนาของประเทศได้อีกคร้ัง

CAT Telecom Public Company Limited, as the organization responsible for Thailand’s communications, has always been grateful for The late King’s mindfulness for his subjects, and therefore adopted The late King’s teachings as guidelines for its operations throughout its 40 year history. In particular, the responsibility for society, the community and the environment formally started in 2009, focusing on employee participation through CSR in process and after process working in parallel with each other to achieve sustainable growth for the future.
In 2016 CAT remodeled its CSR operational procedures and included them in every operational process starting from internal “communication”, which aims to establish a deep sense of responsibility that will lead to “development”, using network ef ciency to support growth of society, the community and the nation to bring about “advancement”. Expansion of knowledge and telecommunication networks to remote areas of the country to create equality for the people, and opportunity to access all types of communications, will bring about “modernization”. This is in line with the company’s CSR Master Plan 2015-2019 as well as The late King’s initiatives.
On behalf of the Good Corporate Governance and Social Activity Promotion Committee, I would like to thank all stakeholders for their continued support of our operations. I am con dent that with the cooperation from our stakeholders and employees’ dedication, we will be able to move forward into the challenging future. With the strong support from all concerned, CAT will be able to grow and expand and reposition itself as the leading telecommunication provider of the country.
